Harun Morrison
Nothing Special is an evolving text by Harun Morrison, comprising 365 statements outlining everyday scenarios. This artwork unfolds as a live reading with different performers and is adapted with each iteration.
Nothing Special has previously been performed at Artsadmin, London; Centrale Fies, Dro, Italy, and Tulca Festival of Visual Arts, Galway.
Live Collision performances will be in both English and Irish. The Irish translation was developed by Máiréad Ní Chróinín and Kate Nic Chonaonaigh in the context of Tulca Festival of Visual Arts 2021.

Artist talk
Harun Morrison will host an artist talk at TBG&S on Wed 27 April at 6pm in Studio 6 followed a live performance of Nothing Special at 7.15pm in Studio 1. Please reserve a space for both separately at the booking links below.
Bio:
Harun Morrison is an artist and writer based on the inland waterways in the UK. He was the 20/21 recipient of the Wheatley Fine Art Fellowship, hosted by Birmingham School of Art, Birmingham City University and Eastside Projects. He is currently Designer and Researcher in Residence at V&A Dundee. His forthcoming novel, The Escape Artist will be published by Book Works in 2023. Since 2006, Harun has collaborated with Helen Walker as part of the collective practice They Are Here. Harun is currently showing work at Nieuwe Vide project space in Haarlem, Netherlands (‘Mark The Spark’ 17.03 – 15.05.22) and has a forthcoming exhibition at the Horniman Museum this summer. He is currently part of the APAP Performing Arts Network.
