LIVE COLLISION WINTER SALON

In the Festival’s hiatus year, Live Collision will partner with the highly acclaimed artist and convener Gaylene Gould, to devise and host a conversational event, alongside food artist and innovator Dee Maher. Transforming the Cube at Project Arts Centre into a Winter Salon with a curated menu of conversation and food designed to elevate the senses and the mind simultaneously.

What are the questions and the unknowns that anchor artists and Live practice at present? What are the conditions that artists need to make Live work now? Taking place from midday on Sat 09th Dec 2023.

Other events to be announced include Fri 08th & Sat 09th December 2023 with introductions to newly commissioned work by Live Collision festival artists – a first glimpse into work that will feature as part of our festival programme in 2024.

Context note by Gaylene Gould
The festival’s central aim was, and still is, to create a hub for conversation about contemporary culture and the creative and lived identities that expand boundaries. Now seems like a fitting time to gather the artists, audiences and communities that Live Collision has nurtured and to imagine the future together.
